The Phil & Lit has had a number of events on the theme of ‘colour’ over the last few years. This topic links the sciences and the arts and in the case of textile colour, is an area of great significance to the history of our part of the world. Much scientific effort has gone into understanding colour and improving the way it can be deployed in industry.
Meet at the premises of the Society of Dyers & Colourists in time for a 11:00 start to the visit. This is around half a mile from Bradford Bus Station, Bradford Interchange and Bradford Forster Square railway stations.
