Leeds
This giant city , big and strong,
Is buzzing with excitement all day long ,
But when the sun comes down and fades,
The lights of Leeds are then displayed
We have music, theatre, opera and dance,
Town halls and big finance ,
Playground’s , parks and sports galore,
Where our results always soar.
Shopping malls,there are never too much,
Cinemas , where everyone always goes, “shush!”
Fancy restaurants , with master cooks,
Schools with lots of learning books.
The Royal Armories , is full to the brim,
With ancient ,historical swords , it’s use, no, too grim
Leeds town hall , is an example of Victorian architecture,
But now today it is a venue for concerts.
Streets are filled with motor cars,
People look up to see the glimmering stars,
There are people hurriedly walking to work,
While some are in shops talking to the clerks.
This beloved city has it all,
It’s nothing big , nor nothing small,
So, come by if you have a chance,
It will leave you in a trance!
